2 Blue Birds is a storybook teaching preschoolers about colors through poetry and bird watercolor illustrations. Author, Sharon Rose, wanted the illustrations to represent real birds found in nature. When creating these watercolor illustrations, I would research bird photography and create art based on colorful photographs of each bird. After all illustrations were approved, I created the page layout for the book and worked with the printer to support this self published author and preschool teacher.
